Samelin
Boots have been made in Tartu since four workshops merged there in 1945; AS Samelin has traded under its own name since 1994. Its M77 was delivered to the Norwegian army in the 1970s, is still built on the original lasts, and is fielded by NATO armies today — full-grain leather over a stitched sole, made to be resoled rather than replaced.
